  • Quantifying metrics of stemness requires measuring the spatiotemporal histories of each cell’s fate in population.
  • To compare the four different types of cell culture conditions (control,FGF2, BMP2, and FGF2 + BMP2), we applied our tracking system to the sequence.
  • Our system can provide full lineage trees to compute the metrics over time (e.g. cell population,cell cycle, cell mitotic rate, tree synchrony.
  • Biologists can quantitatively and efficiently characterize cell behaviors in vitro in response to different culture conditions by using the measures.
